These are the cheapest places to stay in town - popular with backpackers and younger surfers. Staying in one of these can be a great way to meet other travelers or find out about the best local parties, but don't expect to get tons of sleep.

~ Solo Bueno Hostel - $10/bed or camping. At the northern end of Playa Guiones, down the street from Delicias del Mundo Mini Super.

~ Blew Dog's Surf Camp - Now KayaSol - $10/bed in the "flop house". Jjust a short walk from the northern end of the beach.

~ Tiki Surf Camp - $15/bed or $40 for a private room (dbl). Across from the Mini Super. This is a cool spot in the jungle, with a private trail to the beach.
