Surfing in Nosara/Playa Guiones
Playa Garza -
Drive south on the main road from Playa Guiones for about 12 minutes and you will pull right up to the beach in Playa Garza. The Garza Bay is a beautiful crescent shaped beach located just on the other side of Punta Guiones, and is home to most of the area’s local fisherman and charter fishing boats. Playa Garza also boasts one of the most beautiful white sand beaches in the area. Compared to Guiones Bay, the Garza Bay and beach is much smaller and confined with big cliff points on both the north and south ends.
Location
The Guiones Medical Center or Centro Medico Nosara, consists of two Doctor's offices and one Dentist office. The building is located right across the street from Robin's Ice Cream on the road heading down to the main beach entrance in Guiones. The front of the building has the Mandala store in the front, but the door on the left side of the building leads to the medical offices inside.
The two local doctors that operate in this office are: Dr. Alejandro Gutierrez Breedy and Dr. Mauricio Jimenez Rojas. Both are professionally trained and licensed doctors and can help with any minor emergencies, sickness, skin irritations, infections etc. You can reach them by calling 2682-0347, 2682-1212 or 2682-0942.

Location
The Yoga House is a Yoga Studio located right in the heart of Guiones. They offer many different classes every day of the week with different local teachers. Some of the classes include: Bikram Yoga, Yoga for Surfers, Pilates etc. You can go by the studio and check their schedule to find out the day and times of certain classes.
The Yoga House is located behind Cafe de Paris, and just down the dead end street next to the Guiones Mini Market.

National Rental Car is one of three franchise rental car agencies in Nosara. They are located just beside Rosi's Soda Tica Restaraunt, right on the main road. They have a wide selection of vehicles and other offices located all over Costa Rica.

Dra. Kattia Porras Chacon is one of three local Doctors in Nosara. She has been here in the community for many years and is very knowledgeable about the local bug bites, rashes, infections etc. among many other medical conditions.
Her office is located in the L section of the America Project. If you are heading towards Nosara Centro on the main road, take a right at the "5 Corners" intersection (where you would turn to go to Playa Pelada). Then, follow that road for about 1km and you will see a blue "Doctor" sign on the right side of the road across from her office. See the images and map location below.

Location
The ICE office, where you pay your electric, internet and phone bills is located in the barrio of Arenales; right across the street from Rancho Arenas. ICE is the Costa Rican Electricity Institute and they are the monoply that runs the aforementioned services in Costa Rica.
Here in Nosara you will need to go to the ICE office or contact them for any problems, issues or questions you may have with your electric, land line, cell phone and/or internet service.
Location
The Nosara Office Center is the local copy and print center in Nosara. Located in the Arenales barrio, they specialize in copying, faxing and printing. They also offer internet service as well as travel booking services. In addition, they sell certain computer, cell phone and electronic accesories.
This is also the booking and ticket office for Nature Air. You can purchase tickets at the office center and/or if you need to mail something to San Jose via Nature Air, you can drop it off here. Eduardo is the owner and will help you out with anything you may need.
