Nosara Village

The Beaches of Nosara area gets its name from the village of Nosara, also known as Bocas de Nosara. Once a small and sleepy puebla, Nosara has grown rapidly to accommodate the tourism and real estate boom happening in the area. Nosara is home to most of the regions public services - including the airport, post office, police station, doctor's office, pharmacy and Cruz Roja. Here is also where you'll find the best supermarket (actually there are two), a wonderful fruit stand and a few great restaurants. If you run out of gas, there is a small bomba where you can fill up. On Friday and Saturday night, check out the Tropicana disco, across from the soccer field, for late night partying and Salsa dancing.
